My husband and I are semi-homeless. I called the food bank and asked I can come by there and pick up some food for us. I was told no! They issue out the food to a bunch of churches that I know not where they are! Even if I did know, I have no way to get there! I don't understand why they can't operate the way food banks in Houston and other big cities operate? People can go directly to the food bank and get food! If y'all are not going to provide food to the needy, then go home and go to bed!

I donate food every month. Usually between the 5th and 8th but I got sidetracked this month. I'm 100% sure that there's people who need more help than I do. Wish I could do more!

One of the BEST places to volunteer your time. This place is so well organized and ready to respond to the needs of the elderly, families and any crisis. Imagine in two hours of volunteering to package meals, you help feed 500 families!
